The TheraTouch CX4 is an easy to use and convenient electrotherapy system. It takes you through the step-by-step process of delivering electrotherapy to ensure correct procedure and better results. For example, the CX4 will show proper electrode placement. The ultrasound comes with a 5 cm2 ultrasound applicator that has capabilities in both 1 MHz & 3 MHz frequencies

Electrotherapy uses electricity to increase or decrease activity in the nervous system. For this process there are different waveforms used for certain body parts and results. The Richmar TheraTouch CX4 Clinical Combo Unit includes eight different types of waveforms, including the Rapid Agonist Antagonist Sequencing (RAAS) which is a new feature that replicates the firing pattern of muscle contractions to re-educate weak muscles after surgery, injury, or trauma.

The TheraTouch CX4 comes with many features including a 5 cm2 ultrasound applicator. It also features eight clinical waveforms: Interferential, Premodulated, TENS (Symmetrical Biphasic & Asymmetrical Biphasic), NMS, Russian, High Volt, Microcurrent, and RAAS. Choose from English or Spanish on the full-color touch screen and save 99 user-defined favorite protocols. The CX4 also is equipped with a patient interrupt switch.

The TheraTouch CX4’s bilingual interface (English and Spanish language) intuitively groups and displays clinical protocols to guide clinicians step-by-step to ensure an ideal therapeutic treatment, including an anatomical library with electrode placement recommendations to ensure treatment efficacy and clinic efficiency. Therapeutic ultrasound can be combined with stimulation using the dedicated stim channel, using any supplied waveform.
